1. Sync with Square (Retired)
- Status: Discontinued. No longer available or supported.
- Features:

- Automatic daily sync—no manual refresh needed.
- Import up to 18 months of historical transactions on setup.
- Limitations:
- No manual sync—updates are scheduled.
- Some custom advanced mapping options are still more limited compared to third-party apps.
- Only available for QuickBooks Online, not Desktop.

What About Other Square Sync Apps?

If you want everything in one place, minimal hassle, and official support, the Intuit Square Connector is the way to go. Third-party apps are still an option if you need something more specialized, but you’ll manage them separately and support comes from the app developer, not Intuit.
