Before you activate
Can I add these Power-ups if I already have a QuickBooks subscription?
Yes. The add-ons work with your existing QuickBooks Online subscription. If you're new to QuickBooks, you can start a Plus or Advanced subscription through our link or get QuickBooks Online bundled through School of Bookkeeping.
Do the School of Bookkeeping perks go away?
Perks are tied to active Power-ups. If you deactivate one, your tier may drop and ongoing benefits like QuickAnswers access may end.
Do I have to switch away from tools I already use?
No. Power-ups are low-risk add-ons. Many clients run one alongside what they already have to compare before they switch.
Which Power-ups count on a free plan?
Relay, Ramp, Melio, and QuickBooks Payments count on their free offering. QuickBooks Payments has no monthly fee; you only pay processing fees when you take a payment. Every other Power-up counts once its paid plan is active, for example RightTool Pro or an active Method subscription.
Are perks per person or per company?
Per company. At tier 6+, your 3 hours of tutoring can be split across your team, and QuickAnswers covers your whole team.
